This one’s a proper glass of dessert dressed up as a whisky. Stick your nose in and you’re met with raisins, red fruit, and enough port wine cask influence to make you wonder if someone swapped your dram for a glass of grandma’s Christmas trifle. First sip? Boom — full-on sherry assault. Dried fruits, a sprinkle of mulling spice, chocolate-covered cherries, red plums, blackberries… it’s like the entire dessert trolley just tipped over into your glass.

The mouthfeel though — Jaysus, it’s thicker than your uncle’s accent after two pints, and that’s at only 80 proof. The finish hangs around with dark chocolate and cherries, just to remind you who’s boss. It’s sweet, it’s decadent, and it’s probably the only time you’ll call something at 80 proof “a heavyweight.”
