The Brand: Started mysterious, stayed mysterious. Once rumored Stitzel-Weller juice, now sourced from Stein Distillery in Oregon. Same old-school label, new squatty bottle.
Nose: Grassy, bready, and herbal. Think cornmeal, black pepper, club soda fizz, and a hint of vanilla-nut trail mix.
Palate: Light and grainy with corn, dough, caramel drizzle, and floral hay. A dash of pepper and lemon zest keep it from going flat.
Finish: Short to medium. Herbs, spice, and a bit of lingering corn mash round it out.
