They all get shipped back to Chichibu, aged for at least 10 years (some up to 40), and then blended together like the most ambitious international potluck you’ve ever attended. The nose starts fresh and delicate, but give it a minute and suddenly it’s a full-on sensory buffet: vanilla, coconut, pears, lemons, honey, and yes… a little glue. But somehow it works — like that eccentric friend who insists on wearing socks with sandals but still manages to pull it off.

The palate is creamy, with pears, vanilla, toffee, kiwi, and honey, before the spice cabinet explodes with pink peppercorns, ginger, and cinnamon. It’s sweet, it’s spicy, it’s bold — basically a karaoke night in liquid form.
