Nose: Peanut party with molasses and dark fruits (figs and fancy Luxardo cherries). Dark caramel and leather show up like they own the place, while old oak and burnt sugar hang in the background. Leave it sitting for an hour? Rich caramel says, “Oh, you waited for me? Here I am!”
Palate: Baking spices and burnt sugar kick things off, backed by figs, orange peel, and those same fancy cherries. Peanuts and old oak show up again (clearly can’t take a hint). Dark chocolate and leather round things out. It’s thick, oily, and coats your mouth like it paid rent.
With Water: Add a few drops and the heat chills out. Suddenly, rye grain jumps up shouting, “Surprise, I’m here too!”
Finish: Long and lingering, with caramel, chocolate, baking spices, tobacco, and sweet oak waving goodbye like a parade of flavor.
