Goldfinch’s First Flight is the latest addition to the High Altitude Collection — and yes, it’s literally named after a bird that can outfly your willpower to stop at one pour. At 116.2 proof  this bottle flexes a mash bill so complicated it sounds like a family reunion:

15- and 22-year corn in new American oak,
20- and 22-year corn in used American oak,
and a 20-year rye also hanging out in used oak.
It’s basically the Avengers of aged grain spirits — but with fewer explosions and more caramel.

Then they finish it in Sauternes casks (for that dessert-wine glow-up) and a few Cognac casks (because why not add a little French flair?).

Nose: Vanilla, caramel, and orange citrus stroll in first — apple cider and baking spice follow like backup dancers who actually steal the show.
